End of Spring Semester
Written by Joe on Thursday, May 8, 2008 – 12:10 am -Today I took my last final of this semester. I am glad it’s finally over and I can get back to my normal life and have time to myself. No more bull crap essays and assignments where I learn nothing until the end of August.
Since I am going for two degrees I have to take two more bogus classes in Science and what they call a transfer class. To take the easy road out, I took intro to Chemistry which I already took in 9th grade and passed with flying colors, and for the transfer class I chose General Algebra. Yes, read it again algebra. Not advanced but regular old x+2=4 what is x? kind of stuff. I can’t believe it’s a college level class. How can you get to college and not know algebra??? Not to show off but I was doing calculus in 11th grade and was doing pre-algebra in 4th grade. I can’t wait to see how dumb everyone else in class is, it’s my only enjoyment out of taking bull crap classes.

Hiking in Staatsburgh
Written by Joe on Thursday, April 17, 2008 – 12:34 pm -Yesterday I had to go hiking as part of my Wellness and Fitness class. Not a bad way to spend your class time. It was a beautiful evening and it wasn’t too hot since we started at 6:30pm. I brought Jamie along to keep me company. I want to kick myself for forgetting the camera, but at least I Google mapped the area to show you. I think I may go back again, there was a spot for a picnic at the end of the 2-mile trail with a place for a fire and everything. Also the river is right there so maybe some fishing and skipping rocks.
The trail is between the Norrie Point Environmental Site and Mills Mansion. We took the path that literally follows the river’s edge, which was cool because the water was calm and the setting sun glistened upon the water (AWW so pretty). I enjoy going out for walks, and the trail wasn’t a boring asphalt path through the woods, we took the one that went through the roots and over fallen trees straight through the woods. Most of the class just zipped through it like we were being timed, but Jamie and I stayed back from the crowd and enjoyed the hike. People brought their dogs with them, it was pretty funny seeing these little dogs jump over tree roots and going under fallen limbs.
The blue line is the trail we took. There is an easier paved one through the woods, but where is the fun in that.

Work through the sunrise
Written by Joe on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 – 6:37 am -I’m still up!!
Don’t you just hate trying to go to sleep when the sun has already came out? I finally just finished that damn English paper (didn’t help that I messed around with the blog of over an hour in between!).
Work starts in less than 2 hours and I need to sleep. What a dilemma. I have class tonight from 6-9p, bet you anything I won’t be touching this blog at all tonight because I’ll be catching some zzz’s pretty early. I have a wonderful test to look forward to as well tonight, yippe. :(
Hopefully Wednesday will come soon, I took 1/2 a day to get the car some new brakes. If the weather is nice I might change the oil as well.
